This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processing by Takasago International Corporation and our affiliates (“we”, “us” or “our”) that is subject to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”) or UK GDKR and supplements our Global Privacy Policy. If there is any discrepancy between this policy and our Global Privacy Policy, this policy will take precedence. We may further provide you with one or more separate notices regarding your privacy. If there is any discrepancy between such notices and this policy, such notices will take precedence unless otherwise stated.
For the purposes of this policy, the terms defined in the GDPR have the meanings provided in the GDPR unless otherwise defined in this policy.
1 Controller
The Controller for the processing of personal data by our group is as stated in the Global Privacy Policy. Information on our subsidiaries in the EU and the UK can be found in the attached sheet.
2 Cross-border Transfer
Where we transfer your personal data to countries that have been deemed to have an adequate level of data protection by the European Commission, we rely on the adequacy decision adopted by the Commission. Where we transfer your personal data to a country not on the list, we rely on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the Commission. For more information, please contact us.

Under the GDPR or UK GDPR, you have the following rights. Please note that these rights are subject to certain restrictions.

Unless your request is manifestly groundless or excessive, you will not be charged for the request.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. However, we would appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns first, so we kindly ask you to contact us before lodging a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Our group has appointed Data Protection Officers (“DPO”) in some of its legal entities located in the EU or UK. The DPO's contact details are as follows.
