Steve Williams Appointed as Sensei Perfumer
Takasago International Corporation announces the appointment of Steve Williams as a Sensei Perfumer.
The title of “Sensei Perfumer” is awarded to a select group of perfumers within the Takasago Group who have demonstrated exceptional creativity and leadership and made outstanding contributions to fragrance creation. As symbols of technical excellence and creativity within the company, Sensei Perfumers play an important role in passing on perfumery expertise and mentoring the next generation of perfumers.
Steve Williams has more than 40 years of experience in the fragrance industry, including 16 years as a member of the Takasago Group. During his time with the Group, he has created numerous fragrances, primarily for the home care and personal care categories. He has also helped establish creative strategies in growth markets, including Southeast Asia, advancing fragrance creation that responds closely to local market needs and making a significant contribution to the growth of Takasago’s global business.
In his new role as a Sensei Perfumer, Steve Williams will support regional creative activities around the world, mentor the next generation of perfumers, and contribute to the further advancement of Takasago’s perfumery culture.
