Takasago International Corporation announces it has been included in Morningstar Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt Index (Morningstar Index) as the highest tier, Gender Equality Score Group 1.
Morningstar Index's ratings are designed to emphasize the stocks of companies that have strong gender diversity policies embedded in their corporate culture and that ensure equal opportunities to employees, irrespective of their gender. This is achieved by considering categories such as gender balance in leadership & employee, equal compensation & work-life balance, policies promoting gender equality, and commitment, transparency, & accountability. It is adopted as an ESG index for Japanese equities by GPIF (Government Pension Investment Fund), which manages Japan's public pension funds.
