The Poster Award at CBI Annual Meeting 2021

TAKASAGO gave a poster presentation at the CBI Annual Meeting 2021 held online from October 26 to 28, 2021. Design and Implementation of New Methods for Odor Molecule Generation won the Poster Award for the results of joint research with Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Design and Implementation of New Methods for Odor Molecule Generation
(won the poster award)

In recent years, the technology of the computer-aided molecular design has made great progress in drug discovery. Among them, the method using deep learning, which is one of the artificial intelligence technologies, is attracting attention. In joint research with Tokyo Institute of Technology, we have developed elemental technologies for designing new molecules with the desired odor by applying deep learning and reinforcement learning. We will apply this technology to develop new flavors and fragrances.

《About joint research》
We are working on the theme of "Odor compounds design based on computer-aided aroma and drug discovery technologies" jointly proposed with Tokyo Institute of Technology.
This presentation is based on results obtained from a project, JPNP14004, commissioned by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
