Spreading the Culture of Flavor and Fragrance throughout the World

Activities to Spread Flavor and Fragrance Culture

Takasago hold many exhibitions both in Japan and abroad, collaborate with museums on exhibitions, provide flavors and fragrances for events, and cooperate with TV science programs and reports to help more people become familiar with aroma and to spread flavor and fragrance culture worldwide.

Materials and pieces of art related to fragrances communicate ideas about the culture surrounding them and provide important information. Takasago has a valuable collection of implements from kodo, the traditional Japanese incense ceremony, as well as Chinese incense burners, ancient Oriental, Greek, and Roman perfume oil bottles, Western perfume bottles, and fragrance materials. The Takasago Collection can be viewed at the "Fragrance Museum" in the lobby of the company's headquarters.
