New water treatment plant completed
Here is the inside of the wastewater treatment plant, which offers vastly greater treatment capacity than before. While conserving the environment is the primary goal, one expected spin-off will be more streamlined operation. We intend to undertake similar expansion of other facilities in the future.
New activated carbon deodorization system designed to solve odor problems
Also newly installed at the Pudong plant is an activated carbon deodorization system. This uses modified activated carbon and incorporates low-energy equipment, a combination that boosts efficiency while saving resources. The system is now operating smoothly.
Security measures
An evacuation drill is held every year to practice safety procedures during emergencies and raise safety awareness among employees. Signs and lighting showing the positions of the emergency exits and urging people to evacuate swiftly play a key role in ensuring safety.
