Recycling resources within the local area
Thanks to group-wide efforts to protect the environment, the amount of waste ultimately discarded is declining per unit of production. Recycling rate in Japan reached 99.2% in FY 2010.
Efforts at each site are producing definite results. The Kashima Factory, for example, has achieved zero emissions by recycling waste.
The whole group will continue working together as a team to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in the dump.
