Alleviating environmental impacts through ongoing environmental activities

Production volumes have been rising in recent years. Particularly noteworthy has been the increase in inputs of raw materials and other resources driven by expanded production of items like individual synthetic fragrances (Aroma Chemicals) and key pharmaceutical intermediates (Fine Chemicals). For some products the amount of processing has also increased due to added steps in production, and this too has affected growth in environmental impacts.

In the face of these circumstances the Takasago Group has succeeded in alleviating the environmental impacts of doing business by implementing a series of environmental activities such as conserving energy, saving resources, and using them more effectively.

We are committed to making further improvements by quickly and accurately identifying challenges and evaluating progress across the whole Takasago Group.
