| Our Mission: Contributing to Society Based on Technology |
| TAKASAGO has vigorously pursued the corporate philosophy of “Contributing to Society Based on Technology” since its inception in 1920, advancing the quest for cutting edge research and development and evolving into a leading company in the flavor and fragrance industry. The TAKASAGO “Square T” corporate logo, a fusion of the inspiring red color of the sun above and the deep blue hue of the oceans around us, stands as an apt symbol of Technology, Teamwork and Trust, and expresses the enlightened stance of a company determined to excel on the frontlines of global business. People, technology and information, spanning sales, research, marketing, production and other key fields, interweave and collaborate around the world, with the power generated from the synergistic effects of this process emerging to pioneer dynamic new value. |
Our Vision |
| To be one of the top players in the global flavors and fragrance industry. |
Global Management Activities |

Hiroki Take, CEO |
At TAKASAGO, we mobilize state-of-the-art technology to create products of high value that are friendly for both people and nature, while continuing to grow and develop. Today, we advance our marketing activities through a global network with bases in 23 countries. Under “PROGRAM G3 (Growth in Group & Global),” our mid-term business plan launched in 2006, TAKASAGO innovations have targeted the development of new materials engineered to furnish higher value for our customers, paired with increasingly swifter and more efficient business operations. The goal, in all cases, is to advance our business with customer satisfaction at the core. To better address the needs of the fragrance, flavor and chemical sectors, the Global Strategy & Planning Committee (GSPC) has been established to cover and serve the needs of the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions. Mission teams stationed in each of these markets share key information, while moving to develop products with outstanding function and performance, and making effective use of all available corporate resources in our international business endeavors. |
